Everything needed to teach is provided for free!

Language Development System, LLC and our affiliates do not charge any fees for training, tech support, teaching materials or equipment. Everything needed to teach is provided for free. About 80% of our students are between the ages of 19-50. They tend to be either undergraduate students, graduate students, or working professionals at one of the large corporations in South Korea. The other 20% of our students tend to be high school or middle school students, retirees, and working-adults from other professions.

In South Korea, English education has been compulsory for the last 20+ years. However, most of the public school English teachers have learned English as a second language. Even after a decade or more of English classes, most feel they are still unable to communicate effectively in English. They want to further develop their English communication skills so they can easily express their thoughts and comprehend both native English and second language English speakers.

Our Mission

1
Motivate Students

Language Development System provides a meaningful and effective education program that will encourage and motivate students in South Korea and China to master the English language.

2
Practical Exercises

The work is challenging, and interesting. The curriculum allows the students to use their English in a number of scenarios.

3
Student Variety

The students will cover a wide spectrum: high school students, house wives, office workers, CEOs, doctors.

Our Philosophy

The most important idea allows us the great opportunity to meet people from Korea, whom we admire and respect tremendously.

Korean students are eager to learn, not just how to speak better English, but also about our culture and about our lives. There have been times when it is a bit frustrating and wonder "Why can't they understand this?" so much passion, compassion and patience.

But there is great joy when the light bulb goes on and they understand. We truly enjoy teaching English to people who want to learn it and use it correctly. We're glad to be a part of their efforts to improve their lives. We are honored to form these personal connections and share in the ups and downs of their lives.

It feels like I am just chatting with friends. When you make that connection with students, they become more comfortable to ask questions, become more involved in the lessons, and both the tutor and student get more out of the experience. Apart from the convenience and freedom of being able to work anywhere with a stable internet connection, my favorite thing about working for Language Development System is the connection with students.
